ENSTOR is building and will operate the 16 BCF Houston Hub Storage Development approximately 35 miles northeast of Houston, to meet the needs of traditional seasonal storage users, power generators, industrial consumers, and LNG importers. ENSTOR plans to operate the Houston Hub as a market based facility, allowing for customized market-responsive pricing for firm and interruptible services at the facility.

This facility will provide ENSTOR with a unique opportunity to expand its gas storage business in the Texas Gulf Coast. It is strategically located in the middle of the developing Texas and Louisiana Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) market, and will utilize interconnections that are in common with our Katy facility.

Houston Hub received its certificate in 2008 to provide high deliverability multi-cycle gas storage service. Upon completion, the facility will have a maximum daily deliverability of 1 Bcf, and could also be utilized as a header system to allow customers to capture value between the various pipeline locations.
